Sharon was our very first client when we started Alpha Tuition, and she still uses our services today for ongoing support for her son. She had the following to say about our services:
"I approached Alpha Tuition after receiving my son’s 2nd term report in 2009. My son had failed both the 1st and 2nd terms and I was very concerned that without a determined effort, he would fail the year (Grade 9). After considering a few tutoring options, I decided on Alpha based on the level of professionalism in dealing with my requests for information and the suggested support programme.
Alpha Tuition proposed that we focus on 4 key subjects namely English, Afrikaans, Maths and Science. Calvin had approximately 6 hours of tuition per week split between 2 tutors – one for English & Afrikaans and the other for Maths & Science. The tutors (Don & Raeesah) developed a rapport with Calvin such that he was prepared to work for them. This work, over several months, resulted in Calvin successfully passing the year and being promoted to Grade 10.
As a result of the good work achieved in 2009, we have decided to continue with tuition in 2010."
